Through a bunch of shite in my life the past year I dove into home networking for sanity and found this channel and have been devouring every video. Learning so much. Love Chucks attitude and love of teaching. Making a seemingly complex subject easy to grasp and get into. Thank you Chuck! ❤

If you were my teacher when I was at school learning all this, I would be an IT god now. You are so easy to listen to and follow, and your personality is so chilled. To late for me now I guess. Ill just have a quick coffee and learn from your videos. Thank you.

Installed this for my home network. Didn't realize what a game-changer it was until I left my network and went into the wild. This thing is awesome.

My favorite topic, blocking ads. I try to run as much to block them as humanly possible on my network. I absolutely cannot stand ads, they don't work on me they just tick me off.

How could I have missed this upload, but great work and I have used Adguard on my router for couple of years on and off (experimenting and other stuff have made me get rid of adguard) so fun to see people learning others on YouTube how to use this stuff

Less than 15 minutes and the home network is ad-free! Thank you!! I've been in IT for over 40 years and thanks to you, I'm still learning new tricks! (BTW -- Love our old CBT Nuggets server.)

Well I am using Pi Hole for more than 2 years from now and it's working great and I also configured it to act as a DHCP Server.

ah! the editing and energy overall makes the video flow seamlessly from the start. very well done, has been a long time since i've first watched something for the form and style leaving the content in the background! it's just so well balanced the editor is an artist

I have used Adguard for the past 2 years or so and yeah it's great, low overhead and not a resource hog. The most tedious part of having it is whitelisting. For me forced DNS routing after configuration will be recommended if available especially if you have only 1 ip set to Raspberry Pi. Adding a virtual ip is recommended or a usb nec to ensure that DNS 1 and DNS 2 is set to Adguard only. So far for mobile phones, if only 1 IP is set and and you can't force route DNS queries on the router, ads may still show up.

Adguards DNSSEC verification is kinda in a so-so status right now. Using Unbound as the Upstream resolver and DNSSEC checker will be ideal and also this could ensure that it is passed correctly to DoT or DOH servers and a guaranteed DNSSEC verification at all times.
