I faced this problem two times yet. First time I dismantled the Circuit completely, reassembled it and it worked again.
The second time I just threw it in the corner out of anger and.... it worked too!
Thanks to you I know now, it's "percussive maintenance".

Don’t know if you’ve already covered this elsewhere but: with 1.8 firmware and a low BPM the individual steps (using microsteps) in a pattern can be used to sequence and store chiptune-style arpeggios; these can then be duplicated across the pattern; a fewer-steps pattern can be nudged through with each iteration to create a melodic progression while working on the note page alone

My mind is blown with that step automation, I was always going into the gate or velocity page to select a step

That holding button window view trick works for multiple buttons so all your fingers as long as you keep them pressed / unpressed in same sequence

"Hitting it" was how my father fixed me when I was broken and I turned out just fine.

Instead of hitting it I reccomend the soft drop technique. Drop it on your bed pad side down a few times and it should work!

I have a degree in music technology and I’ve spent a huge proportion of my life studying recording and production, problem-solving, reading manuals and trying to figure out DAWs and various bits of kit? I like the fact that you can set the length to a pattern (not sure if it's called this) to create polyrhythmic loops. So, for instance, add chords and set the length of the pattern to six and let the drums and bass play with a full-length pattern.
I also have used the half-tempo + microsteps to play longer progressions. It takes a bit longer, but you get so much more space with this method.
