I started at 2.5 lpa and got offer of 10.5 lpa in 2 years. Experience and skill matter in IT
Just get into the field.

I have some different opinion
1. Entry level package and career growth both are different things, it is important to understand the fact that getting an entry is important and of you do well in your skills then sky is the limit
2.even if you are a fresher it is still possible to get good package, you just need to crack good product based companies interview

After a year of self learning, I got into IT sector as developer for 4.8lpa, and in a year I got package of 15lpa, so yea, skill and learning matters

Of course supply zyada hai.
All thanks to the ridiculous promotion of IT jobs about how there is HUGE SCOPE, along with ads from companies like whitehat junior who promote it even more.
In my class, 8 out of 10 people are going into IT.
It is unbelievable the amount of competition there is just because IT is hyped and low skill workers bhi ghus jaate hai paise ke naam pe

The growth on salaries are so low because of the availability of engineers and greed of companies. I remember even in 2005-6 people use tonjoin with 3.5 lpa and still it's same many times lower than that. Because the greed for profit and major portion of our youth pursuing engineering

He is just talking about entry level struggle but best job in India is in IT offering best packages once you have 2-3 years of experience.

Meanwhile mbbs doctors salary was 4 lpa in 2012 and 4 lpa in 2022 with no change at all and if he is a well experienced guy then it could be upto 8 lpa. Engineers salary atleast keeps growing yearly poor doctors get same 5 or 6 lpa salary even after 10 years of working.

I started with 6lpa in Java from a Tier-3 college and in 2.5years am at 25lpa in Salesforce-MuleSoft. The key is to get inside, acquire skills (any development skills, not support/maintenance) and have good communication.

We love your videos but someone in industry only knows what happens inside an industry. Having financial knowledge is not sufficient in my opinion to have an industry-wide-career suggestion. There are hardly any blockchain/meta/ML related jobs in entry-level for regular engineers.
