Yamaha F310 Acoustic Guitar Overview

I've had two of these. Bought them ten years apart. They were both very good guitars that were set up just right out of the box. Can't beat them for playability and quality at this price range.

I got a Yamaha F-310 as my first acoustic guitar around 1994/95 and I've never felt the need to buy a different one. I've played a fair number of other acoustics over the years and few had the same quality of sound that I enjoy from my old F-310. I hope they are still as good as they were back then, because I love it and if the day comes that I finally have to replace it, I hope I can get another one that will bring me as much joy as the one I've had for the last 25 years.

Owned this for around a year and can definitely recommend to ANYONE. Feels, plays, and even looks great.
I had the FG700S before and now I own the FG800... I kind of liked the F310 more! But that's just a matter of tastes, the three are awesome guitars, but the F310 is truly legendary. Just surf the web and see for yourself.

I have one of these, I've been playing guitar 40 years and own some decent guitars. This Yamaha was given to me, rather surprised at the quality for what they retail at. I replaced the nut and saddle with tusq to get a sliglybetter brighter sound, frets didn't need any work doing at all. I have it hanging near by where I sit, just pull it down for a quick play, easier than getting another out of its case etc. It's lighter than all my other acoustics so gets grabbed a lot.

I have 4 of these from goodwill. Some needed work, two were perfect even for 20+ yr old guitars. It amazes me the sound difference btwn the years, aging of the wood. Great guitars, its crazy they are "entry" level as Ive been playing for over 30 years and these are fantastic axes.

i have the fg820 and recently brought the 310 as a second guitar. its a little brighter sounding than the 820 but has great sonic resonance which will only get better with age. definitely recommend the 310

I bought this kind of guitar, .. believed its not just for beginners choice but of collectors too, .the sound so nice if properly set up, .. Goes well with pick ups too, ..it a must buy for everyone, considering the price and durability

Just be aware it's not a solid spruce top. It's a thin sheet of spruce on top of laminate .
