Fourier Unveils Next Generation Humanoid Robot GR-2

Fourier launched its latest GR-2 humanoid robot With remarkable upgrades across hardware, design and software. Standing at 175 cm and weighing 63 kg new GR-2 features 53 degrees of freedom allowing for a wide range of movements. Its 12 Degree of Freedom Dexterous Hand equipped with six array type tactile sensors enhances its ability to handle intricate tasks. The robot also includes a detachable battery with double the capacity of its predecessor extending its operational time by an hour, making it suitable for long distance walking and other demanding activities.

Better to have the robot replace a human at a repetitive and menial factory job and retrain the human to care for patients and elderly than robots directly handling vulnerable people. No robot should have access to their full power capacity within feet of a person but be programmatically limited to only a portion of their capability until away from people. A computer glitch, bug or even malicious code could result in a accident such as robot crushing limbs. Mark the words.
