I'm building a 3.4 now. It's a very interesting engine if you like getting under the hood and rolling your sleeves up. But expensive to refurbish and somewhat technical compared to other engines. But I love them. I've seen some of the Workshop 5001 work and I like the vibe of what they are doing.

Sounds like a place to take my mothers 68 911S Targa.

I love Posche air-cooled engine design easy to maintainece, it like you maintaining superbike engine but it boxer, from waber you can convert to injection or IBT, if you install injection you can install turbo....yup you need oil cooler and intercooler in front.... that rear fan actually function as gyro to lift the weight of the engine rather then cool the engine...reason to buy the air-cooler Posche?....RWB.... modified boxer 6 to 10 really fast doe.... you need TIG the engine case and need custom crank like 4 rotors crank.... fuel consumption for Posche really good... it's you driving a 2jz

If it needs a water pump, it isn’t really a Porsche engine
