McLaren 600LT Coupe Review w/ Owner - Everything You Need To Know Before Buying One
Показать описание
Click this for an honest McLaren 600LT review featuring the owner's non-filtered thoughts, a spirited drive through Chatanooga, and always with lots of actual real facts and content. We were so excited to get the opportunity to review this 2019 McLaren 600LT Coupe. Coming in at a $357,923 MSRP too this one just had all the right goodies and looks. This includes the carbon fiber one, two, and three options, the $30k MSO carbon roof scoop, the Sienna race seats, and the beautiful Lantana Purple paint. Truly I could not spec a McLaren 600LT better myself.
We don't know WHAT it is about Lantana Purple, but this color is straight fire in person. And I don't even usually like purple cars! But with all the carbon fiber, full Alcantara interior, with the Sienna sport seats, it just all comes together and we won't lie, we get a like weak at the knees. Everyone who saw this car had to take a double look and do a walk around. The McLaren 600LT is one of the most exotic cars we have ever seen, period.
Now let's talk about the McLaren 600LT performance. After all, this is a sports car and performance matters. The 2019 McLaren 600LT has a 3.8 Liter twin-turbo V8 making they say 592 hp and 457 foot-pounds of torque. This propels the McLaren 600LT to 60 in 2.9 seconds, and let me tell you the sounds this engine makes are orgasmic to a petrolhead. Just watch this McLaren 600LT review, and listen to that turbo spool and engine scream rolling through what may just be one of the best 7-speed dual-clutch transmissions on the market today.
One negative of the McLaren 600LT is the overall build quality. You can see in the first few minutes the owner Matt tells it like it is. You can hear an audible rattling noise from the engine bay of the McLaren 600LT and it was offputting. Otherwise, I thought the build quality at least for this car was quite good. Also Matt the owner said that with this McLaren 600LT, he has had no issues. Although, with his first 600LT, it had two issues that required McLaren to fix.
In this McLaren 600LT review, we break down the interior and exterior. While the infotainment of the McLaren 600LT ain't special, the overall interior feels modern and the full carbon fiber bucket Sienna seats sure are a conversation starter. This car even had purple color contrast stitching which was like a $5,800 option. Overall, I found the interior to be a cool place to spend time. But, nothing matches the cool factor of the carbon fiber plenum of the roof scoop on the inside. The sound effects are so cool.
Really the only negative is the McLaren 600LT is the build quality and price. At $357k, it's not cheap and you have been losing between $50 and $100k plus almost immediately upon purchase. In fact, McLaren dealers were giving massive discounts on these off the showroom to move them. It was a mistake not to make the 600LT a limited-production car.
