Im digging this team, I followed CC to the Fever. But I've grown quite fond of Kelsey, AB, Hull and many others on the team. Even got me a Mitchell Jersey. They better last in the playoffs because it's going to be a long off-season.

Kelsey Mitchell has always been a great player.
The only difference is that people whom never watched the sport never seen her.
Now that they have, it didn't make her better player because of it.
The game has gotten easier for her because now the Fever has another threat, not to mention she's a point guard named Catlin.
Now the Fever has it's pieces to the 5 man/woman puzzle.
A point guard, shooting guard and center. They have Lexie Hull a player that every championship team needs. High energy, tough defender and a crazy 3 point shooter in terms of percentage, what is it somewhere in the 60% range since the break. Nobody does that.
I was very interested to see how this roster would work together and what syle would they play with this talent.
Kelsey Mitchell always having to make things happen in terms of her ability to score. Some people see her as a ball hog but they really don't know or understand that she's always had to play that way. Not because she doesn't have the ability to pass the ball.
Then you have Aliyah Boston whom always played in the half court game. She's a center that's to be expected.
The you have Catlin Clark's game. Fast paced up and down the floor.
I have to give the coaching staff credit.
Yes...Christy Sides. Lots of questionable decisions in terms of player rotation and not calling time outs to disrupt the other teams runs
However I'm looking at the locker room and are these women bonding as teammates. It's difficult to do because Lin Dunn has high expectations for this team. She did win a championship as a head coach and the Fever was a playoff team.

Any player would be foolish not to want to join the Fever. Not only will they be the recipient of those passes for wide open shots from CC, their exposure and popularity would explode. They really seem to be a fun group and enjoy each other's company too.

Everyone, except maybe Smith, have embraced their respective roles in the up tempo CC style. You have to elevate your skills to get court time. Hopefully, in the off-season, the Fever can get a couple more players who want to run and gun.
