Let's keep church out of government just like our great founding fathers wanted

“In god we trust” only become the motto on July 30, 1956. Someday, it will again be “E pluribus Unum”.

Those lectures haven't sunk in since you two are confused about the proper understanding of the separation of church and state.

The argument those specific words aren’t in the constitution falls apart as soon as you read it ‘congress shall make NO law respecting an establishment of religion or prohibit free exercise there of.’ Sounds like separation of church and state to me.

But when you talk about the State allowing religion to have a say in things or display religious content you only think about allowing that by your preferred religion, not by all religions.

When you stand up for the right of an Imam to read a prayer or The Satanic Temple to host an after school club, then I'll listen to what you have to say about allowing religion in government and schools.

Acknowledged all religions and lack of one too. But do remove mention of a deity on our money for sure.
