I wish Layne was here to see how much he is appreciated, I don’t think it would have changed his mind on going out the way he did, but I also don’t think it’s any way he knew how much he meant to people, just bc the internet was barely a thing in his time, but if he saw the hundreds of groups on Facebook dedicated just to him, the YouTube videos and comments etc.
He may have done things differently, we will never know, but it’s something to think about for sure.

I've been on an Alice in Chains bender for the last few weeks. I've fallen in love with Layne all over again. The first 15 seconds of Man in a Box did "something" to me. I was hooked.
He was and still is the undisputed best grunge band lead man of all time. You can't improve on perfection. This video has looped for the last 40 minutes.
I don't dwell on how he died.
I'm grateful for the magic he created with his gift in his short on earth. Drugs are what he did, not who he was. Rest Peacefully Layne and thank you.🤘
