London and Paris Vacation - Traveling Robert

This is a chronicle of our trip to London and Paris in the spring of 2015. We stay in Greenwich just to east of London, visit several other places in England such as Windsor, Bath and Stonehenge. Also see all the major Paris tourist attractions including a cruise on the Seine River except for the Louvre Museum. It is still a great Paris Travel Guide for a first timer.

Robert, your Videos, your Adventures, they show so much love for your (new) Homeland, it is overwhelming! Really! I can easily see and feel with you, how proud you are to be a new American Citizen. The way you bring us to the famous places on your travels, this is so adorable..and, please don´t laugh - it's just like a child with a new Toy, and this toy must be shown to anyone in the audience...lol...
I don´t know how to describe this properly - and so that it doesn´t appear ridiculous, You are an authentic Migrant - just like Feivel the Mouse who is soo enormous proud that he is in a Land without cats now...lol! Proud that he finally made it, and proud of all the famous places in his new home - country that he visits on every tour he makes. and just this is the reason that makes you so great! Greater than all other travelers here on youtube. Compared to you, they all appear a little bit "dull and pale"!

I recently took a trip to London in late May 2019. Weather was crisp but bearable. As you noticed there is just too much to see in a short time. The nautical museum and Cutty Sark were some of my most treasured in London. There is a fantastic collection of wooden hand carved mastheads that are just breathtaking. You have done an admirable job showing the highlights of Old London. I found a way to get to the loo for almost nothing. If you go to a pub and get a pint you are allowed to use the facilities free. What a place great beverages, and a free loo... Keep up the great work.

Robert, you didn’t show any interaction with the French. When I was there in the late 90’s I found the staff at restaurants quite rude. It was not because we didn’t try to speak the language. My girlfriend at the time was an exchange student and fluent in French. I knew enough to order food and get by. The food, though for people that understand fine cooking, was mostly delicious.
If one likes architecture, the city is like heaven. Of course, the museums are tough to beat.
During that time it looked like there was an over abundance of scam artists and picpocketers.

The weather here in the Lowcountry today is unseasonably cold and cloudy. We visited France last June and London last December - this was a great video to put on during our quiet afternoon at home today! We loved the Shard - it was included in our London pass as was the Royal Observatory.
