This was really great info! I bet that horn screw poke through happens alot! And nice save w/ the super glue! Thanks!
Planning to just replace the stock right off the bat anyway as it seems to be #1 on most folks must-do lists.

Thanks for fixing my servo, I was heading to the hobby shop to buy an upgrade but problem solved. Everything looked good so I check the connecters they looked good, added a paper shim and a short screw and bingo its good to go. Thanks you.

Hey just fitted the Injora high clearance links to my beadbolt and all of a suddent the steering went haywire. It would not track stright and had a mind of its own etc I have been trying all sorts of diffent things to fix it. Anyhow i was googling and stumbled on your vidoe and the first thing i read was "overtightening srvo horn can be bad" so i thought....i wonder if i torques the horn a bit too much. Backed it off a couple of turns and VOILA. Fixed. Thankyou..

FYI re the conformal coating: You've got a lifetime supply of the real thing. But for anyone else watching this, you can use acrylic clear nail polish. Pretty much the same thing, cheaper and easy to get where you live. :)

My scx24 base camp servo is buzzing alot and because it fell down on the floor and the wheels weren't straight kept turning to the right and tried centering it and sometimes buzz in the wheels is that a busted servo?

speaking of servos i bought a AGFRC A20CLS and it worked fine for like a week. it will still turn but if it gets just the smallest amount of resistance it will vibrate and click like theres gears not meshing up right ? any idea? I'm thinking the BDX Portal Axels (bought off Ally Express) is the culprit.but i would love to hear your thought? i bought a agfrc programmer but that hasnt helped me the first bit just added more questions to the equation lol

Dude, you can buy a new servo for $14 whole dollars. But youll spend 3 straight hours trying to fix a broken servo.
