You have to pan fry the spam first. I would also use smaller slices of spam and cheese. It's got potential.

Hey Brother Bama, here in Hawaii you could get spam in a dish and prefer it over ham. Kalua Pork is the tops though my man

maybe if they had fried the spam in the skillet first to cook it a little better then put it together it would have been better

I'd use thinner slices of cheese and spam, and then instead of crescent rolls I'd use pufft pastry for a crispier texture
