Learning OpenAI Function Calling with the API Ragulator

Pretty much everyone these days knows that GPT can create text, but have you heard of using GPT for "Function Calling?"

For the longest time I ignored function calling because I was intimidated by the technical term. But it turns out function calling is arguably an even more powerful ability of GPT-4 than text generation.

I created a fun little application I call "The API Ragulator" to demonstrate how function calling differs from regular text generation using the OpenAI API.
