His statement and action in this regard represents a big block of others who have and are making similar decisions to distance from the Dem party that has gone bonkers authoritarian and abandoned the working class.

I walked away from the Dems a few years ago, the most striking things i learned were that
1) only a tiny portion of the GOP is actually what I thought it was and
2) a LARGE portion of Conservative used to be Liberal (notice how that doesn't work the other way)
3) blinded by being on the "right side, " I supported some real scoundrels.
