With the year nearly over, what better way to end it than to look at what JRPGs we have coming up in 2022. Whether that be some exciting SRPGs like Triangle Strategy or the much hyped GranBlue Fantasy: Relink, most of it will be covered here.

I'll only be including the JRPGs that are catching my eye, but hopefully it will give you an idea as to what to expect, or maybe even raise your curiosity for a title you haven't seen before.

Granblue Fantasy: Relink is the big one I'm looking foward to. From the trailers it appears to tick a lot of my boxes, lets hope it delivers. 🙌

Sea of Stars, Triangle Strategy and Elden Ring are the 3 games I'm most looking forward to.

I said it last time, I'm SUPER stoked for Sea of Stars - so thank you for using your platform to help spotlight it. Definitely the game I'm singly most excited for in the coming year.

Following that, Triangle Strategy's demo was SO good, and that one's definitely second on my list. I actually had NO idea it was due to release so soon - so I'm glad for that!

I really haven't been following Granblue Fantasy Relink but that actually looks awesome too! The multiplayer option would probably be something I'd do with my brother.

I have to slightly correct you on one thing during the Pokemon section. Legends Arceus is the first game outside of the main series that is developed by Game Freak. The examples you used in your video where in fact developed by other companies; Snap by HAL, Mystery Dungeon by Chunsoft and Colosseum by Genius Sorority.

For me the games I'm looking forward to are AI Nirvana Initiative (1st game was fantastic), Star Ocean The Divine Force (extremely excited for that one ), Weird West, Elden Ring, Zero no Kiseki, Triangle Strategy There's more but 2022 is looking hype 💯

I personally hope we hear something about Atlus' Project Re:Fantasy or the other titles Studio Zero (Persona 3-5s director Katsura Hashino's new studio) had been reportedly working on. I think its about time for it (they've been working on them since 2017).

Dude, I love Trails of cold steel. Listening to the soundtrack makes me remember about how all the npcs have different dialogues every hour in the story.

Excited for Forspoken, Star Ocean: The Divine Force, and Elden Ring. I might try Sea of Stars and Granblue Fantasy Relink. 2022 is gonna be another big year for RPGs.

About to finish Trails Sky SC. Def taking my time with it but damn sucks being behind ill def be done 3rd chapter of sky by the time zero is out. Excited for Triangle Strategy!

So many great titles coming in 2022! The top titles I'm looking forward to next year are the AI sequel, Grand Blue relink, Triangle Strategy, and Trailis from Zero. I'm a big Utawarerumono fan and will be pleasantly surprised if we get any new titles in the west in 2022. I'm hoping for a localization of Zan 2 (unlikely, but still hoping). I still have some titles from 2021 that I plan to get to in 2022, so it will interesting to see what I actually end up playing in the upcoming year.

Thanks for the video! The standouts for me are trails to zero, atelier Sophie 2, the AI somnium files sequel, and rune factory V whenever it comes to pc.

Trails from Zero was so good! I am really looking forward to the official release so that everyone that wasnt able to play the fan translation will get to play my favorite Trails game in the series, also a day one purchase when it comes out!

Been/still playing Original Granblue since 2015. Just happy relinks is finally able to get released soon... been waiting for years.
