My 1st husband was quite jealous & chased away all of my (thoroughly platonic) male friends, some of them friends from childhood. Then, he cheated on me throughout my 2nd pregnancy. He ended up leaving us (his wife & kids) for a flight attendant. I was devastated at the time, but it was the best thing that could have happened. Guys like that often becomes violent, if it's the *wife* trying to leave.

This year, hubby #2 & I will celebrate 24 years together (22 of them married). I can be friends w/ whomever I choose, and so can he. We just make sure to know & hang out w/ eachother's friends. He's also the Very Best Dad to "our" 2 now-grown kids (from my 1st marriage).

I was Sooo Lucky to find such a *secure, kindhearted, loving, fair-minded* guy, who helped to raise 2 kids he didn't create as if they were his own. Wish there were more men like him for the gals in this world stuck w/ *subpar* dudes.
