DJI Mini 4 Pro EU / CE practical range test low winds + precision landing test

A new range test, this time with low winds and more space to travel. Battery was not at 100%, might be because it was charged a day earlier (or due to the fact it is still new with only 1 charge cycle).
At the end I also test the precision landing feature.
Footage was shot in DlogM with color correction preview on the screenrecording, so the video might seem a bit bland.
I am impressed with the signal, even with red bars, it still held a good connection allowing a video feed and control over thr drone (no sudden drop out, which I did experience occainsionally with my mini 2).

As I was watching your video. I watched your compass in the bottom corner of the screen. If you notice the little blue arrow in the center of the compass is showing the drone. And the yellow dot is your home point. You also have a blue-green dot that has a tiny arrow on it. But you can’t see it because you are standing too close to the home point. It’s better to step away from the home point about 5-10 feet so you can see the position of your controller. That little tiny arrow should always be pointing directly towards the drone. If you notice you were not pointing directly towards your drone. According to the arrow the drone is heading towards the east and you are pointing the controller towards the south east. When you are directly in line with the drone the controller dot will turn green. When you are out of line with the drone it will turn blue. That’s to help you get the best signal strength possible. Hopefully this helps with any future flights and range testing.

Nice one!!! I did the same test with my Mini Pro 4, on a windy day. It still performed really well for such a light device. I can't fault the Mini Pro 4.

I was looking at this and the Air 3. I'm so glad I got this one. I will eventually get the Air as I would like a bigger one for the really windy days. It was about 24mph winds today and I was doing a rooftop inspection. The Mini 4 was being pushed around but I still managed to get the footage I needed

@13:30 you aren’t receiving wrong telemetry dude. The thing DJI won’t tell ya is front signal is much worse than back signal. Fly backwards home for better signal😅😅🤣

I have a brand new mini 4 and my batteries are exactly the same, I wonder also if I need to cycle them, 3 batteries all the same, fly more combo

Thanks, it's good to see in practical full flight and not just a highlight reel, this is what I wanted to see.
How do you capture the RCII controller video with all the UI and telemetry, is that done with the SD card on the controller?

I have an Avata MK1 and did a fun-run with 2158m and still 25 megablips :P and yes, batteries leaking badly, I have same issue they are loosing charge

Als je drone RTH aangeeft heb je altijd extra ruimte om nog verder te gaan ! En nooit bang zijn.dat je het niet haal!.Haalt het altijd, of je moet windkracht 7 terug hebben 😂

Heb zelf ook de M4P met FCC patch.maar over bewoond gebied valt de range nog tegen.iets beter dan de M3P . Je zou denken met occusync 4 en de extra antennes dat t veel verschil maakt. Bij mij iets van 600 meter extra
