making it a great solution for high volume web services like Google Apps,
Facebook, Twitter, and now WordPress.

So, finally we can say

2. Suitable for high data volume
3. Highly compatible (because it is based on HTTP)
4. User friendly

In short, The WP (JSON) REST API is a connector between WordPress and other
software applications which is characterized by universality and high
compatibility.
