On the stability issue. Technically, you have three points of contact. It's going to be very stable.

I love that you melted it with the sun, then beautified it up into a table only to put it exposed to the sun again. I wouldn't be surprised if the table eventually. Folded in on itself from things being put on it as well as the heat of the sun destabilizing the material.
