you can for now fuse the hylian shields with each other, so you can take double the amount. so when you get more inv slots, just disconnect them at the shop in tarrey town for 20 rupees, and voila, even more shields incase they patch this

Just be mindful if you duplicate an item that's already been used, it also duplicates the same durability that the item has left.

For people who are playing in 1.1.2. Here is another glitch that you can duplicate the shield. First the shield and fuse it with a one handed weapon for example a tree branch. Second drop a hard save. Third hold R on your controller. DO NOT TRHOW IT. hit the minus button now watch 4 movies any type, only four. And yes you can skip it. Fourth. After you have watched the four movies. Hit the plus button on your controller. And scroll to the saves. From here your going to load the manual save you did and the weapon shoud duplicate where you had the throwing cross air pointed to. By the way this also works for bows. I also recommend you go to tarrey town and go to Pelion when your done duplicating he will break down you weapon in two pieces for only 20 rupees. And just repeat the moves you have done to make more Hylian shields and bows. Goodluck on your duplicating

So the method is kinda similar to the item dupe

You missed a step. When you equip the shield, you then have to close the menu and re open it before continuing.

Well you can also duplicate the shield at your home

Step 1: get a shock amiter
Step 2: put it close to the shield display
Step 3: turn the shock amiter and run to it and press display fast when you dropped it meaning getting shocked drops your shield or weapon.

What’s the point of duplicating, I nearly have 700 hours by just grinding and 100% it’s not that hard to get materials, weapons, etc, and you feel accomplished that you have reached hundreds of hours into this game
