Anwar meets Chinese President Xi Jinping

Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim met with Chinese President Xi Jinping in Beijing on Friday (March 31).

The visit is historic, according to the Foreign Ministry, and expected to fortify economic relations with China.

PM Anwar even have Xi's respect now, and that's amazing. I'm an Indonesian millenial, and I don't know the entirety of Anwar's journey to be the PM of Malaysia, but when president Jokowi made some time on his busy schedule managing the aid for Cianjur's earthquake victims to congratulate him by phone ASAP, I'm convinced that Anwar have great leadership potentials. I mean, not everybody can sway Jokowi like that, just look at how Jokowi pretty much man-handling the EU leaders as we speak now. So seeing how Anwar could get Xi's respect as well, it really affirms the leadership quality of Malaysia's newest PM, Datok Seri Anwar Ibrahim. I'm so happy for my Malaysian neighbors!
