Terramaster D5 Hybrid SATA HDD Install & Setup - DAS - Direct Attached Storage - Apple iPad Workflow

Today I received my 2 SATA 4TB Hard Drives so this video will cover me formatting them as a Raid 1 on my older MacBook Pro to then be used in my iPad Air 5 Workflow.

I also do a speed test at the end of the SATA HDDs via my iPad and a Speedtest application Diskio.

As noted in this video, DO YOUR OWN HOMEWORK as anything I am doing here is for myself and how I do it. I did these tests on brand new hard drives so had nothing too lose. Formatting drives means you lose all your data so be advised.

Awesome TJ! Thanks so much for your video. I ended up buying one as well and purchased a few 8TB Seagate drives from their compatibility list. I had set them up as individual disks but decided RAID-1 was best for data protection. Thanks for the tip on the reset button after changing the dial from single disk to RAID-1 as I was stuck on that piece. Seems The Terra-Master website is down. I noticed last week it was dog slow. Thanks again for your help! You rock my friend!!
