I had that radio & to modify it you need the Expo kit to add channels 40 up & 40 down & you can unlock clarifier to slide 3-4 kHz.

I had one of those did quiet a few mods to mine it worked great but when I got a export SuperStar 3900 gold HP I got rid of the 465.

There's a chance you bought that from me. Texastratman on ebay. Timing is about right. But I never attached the mic clip. There sure are a bunch of us radio junkies out here. 73's

i have the uniden pc122 which this radio is the replacement. i want one of these too have both.

I just purchased one on eBay for 75.00. From the photos, it looks like it just came out of the box and even includes the owners manual in the shrink-wrap. I've been looking for a SSB radio for a while and most on eBay I see are overpriced or look well used. I was pleased to see this pop up today with a buy now option. I'm looking forward to using the sideband when skip is rolling. I'm hoping 12 watts is enough to get out there.
