It might be interesting to compare ETF vs funds, and not only focus on the investment firm that offers the product. Eg: Tax considerations are important when changing your asset allocation throughout your life. In some countries you are able to reallocate your funds without triggering taxes

With the rise of China and Asia over the next 10-20 years, i would strongly consider having IAA and ASIA etfs in your portfolio.

I disagree with the idea that this is a good portfolio. With VAS, IVV and IOO you miss out the rest of the world, including emerging markets. There is a high home-country bias towards australian stocks, and the strongest US Stocks even have a double exposure with IOO!

This is not diversivied. An all country world index (FTSE All World, MSCI ACWI) would be a safer long-term strategy. But you loose some momentum, shure.

An examination of several decades of historical asset class returns shows that stocks have outperformed almost all other asset classes. Using the 87-year period from 1928 to 2015, the S&P 500 returned an average of 9.5% per year. This compares favorably to the 3.5% return of three-month Treasury bills and the 5% return of 10-year Treasury notes.

How do you feel about ARKX? ... I want it to succeed. But it just being new makes me nervous.

I would be very hesitant to take financial advice from someone who doesn't know the difference between a stock and an ETF. Just saying...

I would add an emerging markets ETF to your ETF portfolio for even broader diversification

Thought on Charles Schwab for long holds? Not a Vanguard, but also not an ARK..?

the title is extremely misleading, I expected something like Coca-Cola or Procter&Gamble, but it seems that you confuse ETFs with stocks and it may fool novice investors, but for more informed investors this is insulting, it's like naming the video "best cities to live" and then proceeding to name countries, I expected more of this channel.

Personally I look at a 2-3 years horizon (min). I would prefer for life but its hard to find those stocks that have high returns over a very long period of time these days

Great video! ETF's is the way to go in the long run. Now in my 50's I wish I had known this 30+ years ago. Now having my daughter (20+) doing the right thing and let her ivest € 100 into VWRL every month. 👍👍👍

S&P500 is wide diversified just within us.. in the very long run it may happen that other country overcome the actual position held bu American stock.. I would prefer to focus only on something global (acwi)
