Cheap Tube Bender Unboxing and Review

I bought this tubing / pipe bender off of Ebay a few years ago. I decided it was time to try it out because I needed to bend some aluminum tubing for the 1932 Aston Martin CycleKart build.

This bender comes with a wide assortment of different die sizes up to 1" which is why I bought it in the first place. This is a perfect tool for bending round tubing that can be used to build mini bikes or custom bicycle frames. I am using it to bend a fake exhaust system on this project, but it has other uses I'm sure. The tool is very inexpensive in comparison to other benders.

It worked great. The only complaint is that it does not have any method for determining the angle of your bend. You have to eye ball it or make up some sort of gage for yourself.

Make a degree temp plate, transfer to die and maybe a Sharp chisel for line's and punch set for numbers???? that's a pretty Kool tool...

Hi, what radius bend do you get from the 9/16" die. I'm looking for a 1" max rad bent through 135 degree's. Is this gadget up to the job?

Hi Steve, love the videos, you really do a good job taking time to explain things along the way.
I was wondering if this is the tool you used to bend the 1/2 square tubing for the body panel framing inside the Aston Martin? or was that the green/rust tool which you used the base from? Are they specific to round or square tube only?
