They tried this on kids. Most of the kids hated the American/canadian ones once they tried the European candy.

Not sure why US makers always have to add unnecessary chemicals. Ugh

Eu has strict laws for which chemicals can be used in all kinds of food. Less sugar and E preservatives in candy😊

I like that you guys are bringing attention to how bad American foods actually are for us

My mother is from Sicily. Shes 89 now. She always made candies. Growing uo she never had much store bought candies. She nade them. Being 55 I still make my own candies. We use oils instead of extracts and usually make just hard candies. Homemade peppermint patties are easy and taste great. Make your own candies.

The little cough before she says "is the second one the US?" Is iconic😂

Hungarian here, I was actually surprised when I first saw American Tic-Tacs, because the box was massive and they were actually orange.

The Pasinis will provoke a riot in the US food industry with these videos. Hopefully!

Simply, in Italy we avoid food colouring. We are so used to it that food too much colourful for us feels like bad food even without teasing it we feel it's not good.😂

Also look at Heinz ketchup ingredients in the US vs other countries. It's like they think we are idiots

At this point can we all just move to Italy? Lol

In UK they were bright orange… 40 years ago.

It’s not a mystery, they put chemicals in the food to color and make it taste good to our sugar addicted brains. We slowly over time need/desire our food to look vibrant through chemicals to entice us to eat it because our heavily manufactured foods lacks nutrients and flavor.

In Australia our orange flavour is also white.

In Germany we also have the white ones that just taste like orange.

Europe has very strict guidelines and laws to what is allowed in food and/or considered "food-save".
Especially regarding food colourings and artificial flavors.

...but anyhow - our food tastes better!

If I remember correctly the Italian ones were orange too then they banned some dyes and they made them white since.
