Nike Pegasus Plus (Pegasus Turbo)

The original Pegasus 35 Turbo and subsequent Peg Turbo 2 were some of my favorite running shoes ever. And for no discernible reason, those shoes never got a real update. Until now. This is the Pegasus Plus. And it’s time to take it for a run.

From what I've seen the renaming to Pegasus Plus is part of a bigger push to 'simplify' the line up of shoes. Pegasus standard, Plus and Premium (2025). Have also seen suggestions that it extends to other models Vomero standard, Plus (Invincible, potential rename), Premium (?). So different categories in the line up would also offer a standard, plus and premium option. I'm not certain but I've heard/ seen multiple outlets/ industry people suggest this is direction Nike are going

Not being sarcastic, i really love it when Ko discusses shoe (e.g., the Boston 12, this peg turbo 3) and foam naming conventions & consistency (or the lack of). Am I buying a peg turbo, am I buying a ZoomX shoe? They must stand for something.

I really love the Pegasus Plus. I wanted a shoe that felt like the Rebel v4 in uptempo runs and feels good in slower paces. I got that in this shoe. In my opinion, Nike nailed this one. 😊

Couldn't agree more on the comparison with the Mach 6! Exactly how I felt when I tried the shoes together. I do think the Nikes win in the drip department though.

May consider for a workout shoe once it inevitably goes on sale and appears in outlets. Otherwise, Mach 6 or SL2 for $130 all day.

Many better options out there at much lower price, as well as much better durability. I loved the Turbo 2 back in 2019, but shoes like the SL2 today are better. The Plus does look nice for casual wear though 😂

A very specific version of theTurbo is one of my all-time favorite shoes. But I won't tell you what it is for fear of further increasing demand for it on ebay. Yes, you did review it.
