Jason dives deep into the day's extraordinary events, examining why stocks hit record highs while bonds took a beating. He questions if the market is signaling growth over inflation, especially given Trump’s agenda to cut taxes, slash regulations, and ramp up domestic oil production. Jason also analyzes key market indicators, like energy prices, the U.S. dollar rally, and the Russell's surprising performance despite rising rates. Why did gold, silver, and copper drop? And is this a sign of future growth or another false dawn? Join Jason as he dissects why betting against the market’s early signals could be a costly mistake

I respectfully disagree. The only way for the US to pay its debt is to inflate it away. You can't magically grow the economy at the pace that is needed to pay interests and repay debt in a significant way. The math does not add up.
Debt to GDP in the 80's was 40%, not 120% like right now.
At a fundamental level, when a contry grows more quickly usually bond yields go down as the market believes the risk is lower and the country will be able to pay back.

Reagan SAID that. But the reality is he increased the debt. So, sorry. Stagflation is around the corner.

How can it be growth without immigrants? How can it NOT be inflation with a 60% tariff?

lets see that tariff war and him cutting 2 trilllion from the budget like he and elon say will happen. Either they're both lying or we're going to see a massive collapse. Dont worry though, either way the billionaires will be fine

Growth? It’s not growth Jason, GDP already running close to 3%, you run hotter and you’re encouraging inflation, especially if you’re slapping tariffs down on imports (and conversely your exports) and borrowing to fund unfunded tax cuts (did you see the deficits Trump will run).

You’re about to witness a Truss style run on the bond market, she promised deregulation, lower corporate and personal and tax rates and she lasted less than 3 months, the bond market made sure of that.
