Cool! A few comments from the workbench:

3:43 The app lost you because you shook the phone while running (shake to disengage tracking). May need to be configurable
4:51 Following objects is hard. Orbiting even more as the object looks different from other angles. Better orbit a person!

And a few tips:
To track objects always mark the object in full, not just a part of it. Objects are tracked as visual patterns and how these patterns move cmompared to the background. So if you only mark a section its harder to see the difference between what is the object and what is the background.

Objects being tracked are easily lost / inaccurate. Tracking person / face is much better as the app can refocus on a lost face again.

Face tracking is much better without a baseball cap :-)

Face tracking is intended to track a face roughly from the front. Not from the side or behind. That is the main reason why Tello "attacked" you :-)

Its best to have the face / person / object centered vertically and visible in full. Otherwise parts may be cut off, increasing the problem to calculate the distance.

TelloFPV doesn't switch from keyboard mode to gamepad mode with GameSir T1s. Why? What am I doing wrong or failing to do right?

I think it tracks the phone... not the person cuz I turned it on threw my phone on the ground it tracked it
