I like the cyan blue shield that was used from late 1936 to mid-'38. That started with BOULEVARDIER FROM THE BRONX, the first MM to use Merrily We Roll Along as the theme song. Beginning in late 1938, the shield reverted back to red and stayed that was through the rest of the classic era until modern graphics replaced it 1963

I remember watching the blue ring intro of Merrie Melodies when I was little on Boomerang UK! The short was The Coo Coo Nut Grove

Apart from the presumed racial stereotypes, "Clean Pastures" was really a lovely little cartoon.

I find it so weird that they only use the 1937 intro 3 times but kept using the closing theme for the next year. Especiallly when the intro they used instead was much worse quality
