Coming of age? Graduating? Heading to a university, college, trade school, or apprenticeship? New journeys, challenges, adventures, and experiences! For many marginalized people of color, college is a first generation experience. There are mountains of struggles outside of tuition, room and board, and books. I created this binder to help with that load. Your loved one should be able to focus on school without the worry of gas or last minute target trips. I’m going to spend the next few months filling this book with cash, letters of affirmations, and gift cards galore so that my name twin, Jazzy, feels supported along her journey. So that on those weeks when her check just won’t stretch… she can buy gas. When the holidays roll around and she can’t afford a ticket home… it’s covered! This is my love letter and promise to this kiddos journey!
