I´m a RME user for decades and always use the biggest stuff so i know them. Like always the recordings are clean as hell with a touch of totally boringnes, means no character no nothing. That´s why i send all the signals via analog gear into the RME as i am not a huge fan of using plugins to re-create character and sound. But RMEs are rock solid, never break down and great support. That´s what count´s in a pro. environment. Set it and forget it.

Grat video man! I don't actually need madi. Is it ufx 2 ok or It has a lower quality than ufx 3?

I got my ufx3 paired with UA 4-710d, and a bunch of external preamps, mainly using all of it to track drums. With the 4-710, through Adat, together with 12 inputs of the UFX I am able to run a total of 20 channels.

Hi. The UFX III replaces the UFX + not the UFX II mentioned in your video. The UFX + did offer MADI connections.

Excellent review. Much appreciate it. Would love your opinion. I own an Apollo X8 and now going through the “bug’ of even considering swapping out my X8 for the RME reviewed here. Would appreciate any opinions and advice.❤‍🔥❤‍🔥❤‍🔥

Wow I just purchased Universal Audio Apollo X4, and looking at prices, and quality of the Fireface, did I make a mistake?

Hello! I bought this card, but I noticed if I shake it a little, or turn my feet on my head, so that the sound sounds there, as if the shaker is not loud! This is fine? what could it be?
