How to Use Google Authenticator

The best way for us to ensure our online security is using 2FA (2 Factor Authentication). Google Authenticator is a free app which creates the tokens needed to use 2FA.

In fact, it is very simple to set up and use, once you get your head around it!

The first thing that popped into my mind was what happens if you uninstall the app, reset the device or lose it. I think this video should've covered some best practices in order for any of mentioned cases to not be a problem in accessing the protected account in the future.

One major issue with this 2FA is that you'll be hosed if your phone died on you or even stolen and you'll need to replace it!

Your never mentioned the encryption key that comes with your Google authenticator at setup, lose your phone and your locked out of your accounts. That setup key is hugely important

the thing is if we set up 2FA on any of our crypto accounts and it generate a code you put in the code and it still saying the code is wrong you truly cannot log into your account so now you probably will be logged out that is the only concern i have
