Cuba marks 60 years under world's longest economic embargo

Cuba is marking 60 years since the United States imposed sanctions on the Communist government.
The world’s longest-running economic embargo has mostly affected common citizens.
The United Nations estimates the blockade has cost the island more than $130bn.

I read an Al-Jazeera article about this exact topic a few days ago. A Cuban-American man was repatriating back to Cuba from Miami, FL because he was working too much at his truck job for five years and wasn’t having enough time for him to go fishing.
USA is crazy, Cuba is crazy-but it was a kind of crazy he knew and understood.
I believe there is a lesson from this that also stems from Buddhism. Sometimes it’s better to have less in life instead of more, just have the essentials and the hobbies that bring you joy, and you’ll have much better personal happiness in life.
