Ukraine sent a fleet of drones to attack Moscow on Tuesday night in the biggest aerial assault on the Russian capital since the 2022 invasion, disrupting air traffic and activating its defences.

Eleven drones were shot down over Moscow, just over two weeks since Ukrainian troops launched a surprise ground offensive across the Russian border into Kursk, catching the Kremlin off guard and humiliating President Putin.
