Lot 778 - This 1958 @Chevrolet Corvette 283/290hp Fuelie convertible is powered by its original matching-numbers drivetrain. Under the hood is the original Rochester fuel-injected 283ci V8 small-block engine, paired with the original T10 4-speed manual transmission. This car was restored to NCRS standards, featuring a striking red exterior that matches the interior and complements the black soft-top. Braking duties are handled by 4-wheel drum brakes. The exterior showcases classic Corvette elements, such as chrome split bumpers, a dual exhaust system that elegantly exits through the rear bumper uprights, a driver's-side mirror and quad headlights. Inside the cabin are bucket seats with correct red vinyl upholstery, complemented by correct red carpets. The interior offers a blend of vintage charm and practicality, featuring a push-button Wonder Bar AM radio, lap belts for safety, a dash-mounted rearview mirror, a passenger grab handle and an analog clock.
