Theory: Rosie owns his soul cause if you realized, a person gets something to make them look like the person they are owned to, for example, angel has a gold tooth, like Val, and vox's worker looks like him since he's owned by vox, husk has yellow teeth like alastor. So I'm thinking since alastor smiles 24/7, it's cause it's forced, since Rosie owns him, so he can't change the smile. Also Rosie probably owns the whole cannibal town, since they look the same, and since she's an overlord( meaning she owns a lot of souls, A.K.A, all of cannibal town) that would also explain why alastor wasn't acting like he usually does, when he was talking to rosie. Like when she says stuff about him, he doesn't get mad, or his eye twitch like we've seen before, he just stays as if nothing was said.
