Yes! That's what i've been saying. All the news of economic, social, technological, military successes of authoritarian, totalitarian states (China, Russia, Cuba, etc) has to be discounted (somewhat) by the fact that (very) negative news wouldnt be published.

The picture of totally empty stores, trains, restaurants, huge lots of unsold cars, entire cities of massive yet incomplete buildings, employees by the thousands losing jobs without notice, millions of recent college graduates with zero employment opportunities, an aging population and a near zero birthrate, plus so many other issues that all point to the imminent total failure of China. "The good earth" part 2 is near. So, the USSR failed, Russia is doing it again, Cuba failed, North Korea is the worst place on earth, and Zi's pride has China well down the same path. The most depressing thing is the liberals in the US, UK, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand want to follow the same path to certain destruction.
