Love Never Dies, a sequel to The Phantom of the Opera is coming to Chicago on February 14, 2018. I saw Mr Cortes at the Broadway in Chicago Summer Concert in August, 2017 and was extremely impressed with his performance! I was able to meet him briefly after the concert and say how excited I was to see Love Never Dies in February!

Andrew Lloyd Webber composed Love Never Dies as well as the original Phantom of the Opera. This song is 'Til I Hear You Sing.

That “once more” at the end was literal perfection.

A lot of people are talking about him singing flat (which he does at a few points, although he scoops up to the pitch (Ab>A then A>Bb, and other points too)), but the way he sings that F at the end is superb!!

Love the Broadway 🎭 in Chicago Summer Concert! Great 👍🏻 overview of theater in Chicago! Millennium Park is a great venue for this free concert, surrounded by downtown Chicago’s beautiful skyline. Excellent music 🎶. This segment regarding Love Never Dies was superb!!

It's kinda funny, I got first introduced to Gardar when he sang "Til I Hear You Sing" in a video around 2011. During the time, I thought he was only a fan singing the song since there are a lot of videos of unknown guys singing that song. Now he played the Phantom in Liebe Stirbt Nie and Love Never Dies North America Tour.

What an amazing and remarkable voice! I recently watch Love Never Dies at Cadillac Palace Theatre on 2/23 during its North America Tour with Gardar Thor Cortes's portrayal of The Phantom and Meghan Picerno portrayed Christine. Though I could not enjoy the storyline, but their performances are absolutely fanstactic.

Gardar is amazing. However, the day I saw LND in my city it was Bronson portraying Erik during the show. And he struggled quite a bit the entire time. Just disappointing to pay over $300 for a seat having waited many years for this show. Maybe I’ll see Gardar in person someday.

This guy clearly has a well trained voice however the emotion is lost a bit here and the over-singing and strange vowel sounds really put me off! It’s a shame as the performance was excellent

I saw him in San Diego and didn't know this song prior. His performance knocked me OUT. It was stunning. Having said that, the show is good....

Strange, most of the time the conductor seems to be conducting at least twice as fast as the song is going. And he is facing away from half of the band.

Sorry but nobody do it like Ben Lewis.

Voice is a bit heavy for the song/role

After Ramin Karimloo, then Ben Lewis, then this guy? Come on already… not even close… The guy has pitch issues.

His awkward, stiff posture and weird facial expressions are too distracting
