min43: if you take the integral of that function evaluated at x=6, you are taking the area under the curve from 0 to 6, right? Then shouldn't you subtract the answer from 1, since we want to see the probability above 6? 1-0.3=0.7... ????

instead of using pexp you could use exp(-6/5)

min 50, you dont get PDF back, you get the original equation back. The one that models time in years from diagnosis to death

min 53. You meant to say that x = -ln(0.75)*5 Your mistake is that R puts Ln as Log, but ... anyways.. this is more for clarification for any lost soul out there confused about that
