Harris and Trump hit battleground states, Biden clarifies 'garbage' comment | Election day countdown

Former President Donald Trump attacked President Biden for a comment in which he appeared to call Trump supporters "garbage." Mr. Biden later clarified that he wasn't referring to all Trump supporters but to the comedian at a Trump rally who made a hateful comment about Puerto Rico. NBC News' Garrett Haake reports.

Vice President Kamala Harris campaigned in North Carolina, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin after painting a stark contrast with former President Trump during closing arguments at her rally in Washington. Harris tried to appeal to men who support former President Trump in greater numbers than women. NBC News' Peter Alexander reports.

Despite claims by former President Trump and his allies that there have been issues in Pennsylvania including voters being turned away and fraudulent ballots, there is no evidence of widespread fraud in the state. Gov. Josh Shapiro said the election would be fair and free. NBC News' Hallie Jackson reports.

The director of cyber and infrastructure security says U.S. adversaries are targeting the election, with Russian, Chinese and Iranian operators trying to disrupt the vote with disinformation ahead of Election Day. NBC News' Tom Costello reports.

In my town of Santa Cruz CA - one friend who is not a citizen received a ballot
Showing her registered as a Democrat. Another friend of mine who has never registered to vote, but who is a citizen also received a ballot and when he checked online, he was registered as a Democrat But he’s not registered to vote
These to me are alarming, and unfortunately, our probably not isolated events
