The Gil's Arena crew discusses the LEGENDARY NBA Career of Kemba Walker as he enters his retirement. After being drafted to the Charlotte Hornets' 9th overall he led their franchise in scoring, minutes played, 3-pointers, and Field goal percentage. Gilbert Arenas says he was a legit star guard, but playing in charlotte stunted his ability to be a mega star in the NBA. Shoutout to Kemba Walker on his retirement he was a shifty, amazing basketball player who will enter the next phase in coaching as an assistant with the Hornets.

Gil’s Arena every Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday at 11:30am PT / 2:30pm ET.

Good to see a franchise reward loyalty. This is what has to happen both ways for the NBA to get back to legendary franchises competing, rather than superteams. Hopefully GS gives Steph a serious role after he retires.

He had no help his entire career. He should have left the Hornets in his prime to a contender. He's one of many former players that should have at least 1 ring.CONGRATS on retirement.!
