Are there any geological interests in Valles Marineris sufficient enough to explore?  I feel somewhat disappointed when this magnificent and super grand canyon is not part of a scientific revelation or even worthy of discussion.

A little dull compared to some of the other Mars sites. We need a closer look at the Cydonia section. Oh sorry...NASA doesn't want us studying that area to closely. We might come to some interesting conclusions on our own. Don't think unless you're told what to think.
