How to program a CHAMBERLAIN garage door or gate opener with DIP SWITCHES [MODEL KLIK5U-BK2]

If your CHAIMBERLAIN remote DOESN'T have dip switches inside, you need to get a KLIK5U - some are almost identical but don't have dip switches, despite them being very similar. I had to open the box at the store to verify, and almost bought the wrong one.

I programmed mine to an older Versalift garage lift. Got one button programmed to lower the platform then reversed the DIP settings to get the other button to raise it.

I had to return mine to Menards. When I opened it up, I didn't have the DIP switch panel, it was just exposed motherboard.
