I feel really sad for Osimhen, to give your all only to get let down by your own team is truly soul crushing.

The players tried. A lot of improvement in the way we play but this is football and anything can happen.

Tolu should have been introduced earlier. Osayi out...Bruno to LB and Aina to RB...Bring in Alhassan and Onyedika and lock up.

PROVEN RIGHT!! The Zimbawe coach has said exactly what l pointed out as a big reason why Nigeria conceded the equalising goal. It is this-HEAT, HEAT, HEAT, FATIGUE, FATIGUE, FATIGUE and the SE coach leaving dead and tired defenders on the pitch, who due to exhaustion reason, become easier to beat in the dying minutes. You see, l observed and told you guys the same thing. To Coach Chelle. Sir, playing a high intensity style in that weather especially with these non-local league SE players who are not used to playing in that hot weather, will leave you with exhausted defenders who are therefore easily beaten and scored on towards the 90th minute. Most fans were complaining that towards the end, that the SE players were switching off, showing no passion, were escorting Zimbabwe forwards etc. Well my friends, those are the subtle symptoms of fatigue. Chelle, if you don't start playing a low tempo style to conserve overall team energy or start bringing in fresh defenders to replace your tired ones, teams will continue exploiting this situation and Nigeria will continue conceding heart breaking, fatigue-related goals. Mark my word. Nobody (players, NFF staff or regular Nigerian citizen) who has access to Chelle will care enough to bring this issue to his attention and as shocking and glaringly obvious a problem as it might be, it might won't get addressed or corrected. Come September, they'll all come back here and elsewhere on the net to lament and look for who to blame for either losing or tying and not going to the World Cup. That's textbook Nigerian way of handling things, or should l say, not handling things. Remember that l told you so!

You can slice and dice it any way you want, but one thing is now very clear. The African heat wears out Nigerian players towards the 90th minute. Teams have been capitalizing on that. If Nigeria doesn't start bringing in fresh legs to defend or play tactically to conserve energy for that period, you'll keep losing. Simple as that! But knowing Nigeria, come September, this will still not be addressed, and history will repeat itself, and the cycle will continue. That's the Nigerian way!

why is moses Simon playing lookmans position. Simon should be coming off the bench for lookman. chukueze should be coming off the bench for ejuke. ejuke is really good but doesn't get called up much. onyedika should start over ndidi. and we need to find another midfielder. not iwobi

It's all over. Let the coach start building a new Super Eagles with strictly selected players that are ready to play

Why is everyone praising this coach what exactly has he done that everyone is praising him?

Well all I can say is the Nigerian coach got ahead of himself, great substitution with Chukwueze but from there after all wrong moves removing Iwobi, bringing on Victor Boniface for what exactly??? And our tired defense will always slip in goals at the last minute, the whole Africa knows this. 😂 They know when to attack the Nigerian team.

Let's all blame Sen Akpabio for this, we have been suspended from the World Cup.

I don’t like it when a coach can’t effectively use his bench.

Nigeria's problems started from the beginning of this qualifies. How can Nigeria with all the premier league stars have just 3 points in 4 games in the weakest pool?

It's simple actually, very simple. Nigeria ABSOLUTELY MUST WIN ALL FOUR GAMES. I think these crop of players have an attitude problem that cannot be fixed, either find players who are hungry for success or we will remain this mediocre all through the AFCON..

Bench moses simon next match. Bad decision making for most of the game. iwobi should start on wings. Boniface as second striker. And onyedika. And bring chrisantus.

Almost all Nigeria's crosses were bullsh*t

They compounded their issue from the first half
They should have at least scored a goal in the first half, but they kept forming big playing shots off-target
They are unserios bunch
With all those chances, they still couldn't score SMH

How many wake-up calls do the Super Eagles need for us to realize that they are not serious?!
