Usopp is the best and honestly is a really strong character nobody can talk shit about him and say he is weak because he could whoop their ass like nothing.

what a lot ppl dont understand, usop is the normal guy in the a world of ridiculous stronk ppl. He went to the grandline knowing that, and he'll use anything to be victorious in a fight which most of us would just run away from. He's like the viewer on board with tons of lies at least before the 2 year training. Without the strength of a devils fruit or 10 years of ridiculous training he's standing his ground. Knowing you're weak that takes a lot of ballz. If you're stronk you have reason to be confident (like zoro/sanji) but he hasn't. That makes him such a good character and now he's an outstanding sharpshooter on which the crew can rely. He also amped up his close quarter strength.

One of the coolest things about Usopp is that at the beginning, he's all talk, but he gradually becomes the hero he's always claimed to be. Each of his lies comes true: massive goldfish? Happened. Fought a giant mole? Happened. And there's one lie in particular that has recurred throughout the series. It won't come true until the end, but despite that, I will be waiting, anticipating one of his most awesome moments ever, when he says these eight words:
