NAIDOC WEEK ACKNOWLEDGMENT 2022

NAIDOC Week is a chance to celebrate the rich history, culture, and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

The NSW State Emergency Service acknowledge the traditional owners and custodians of the land and waterways on which we operate. We celebrate the diversity of Aboriginal peoples and their ongoing cultures, and recognise their continuing connection to country. The NSW State Emergency Service pay our respects to Elders past, present and emerging.

This years theme ‘Get up! Stand up! Show up!’ demands we do more, listen more and most importantly, act more to dismantle disadvantage.
