Thank u very much bro saved me download speed time because it dose download faster in rest mode and i did I get my ps5 today two of my best friends got me the system so I can be apart of th next gen family they got one thereselves and my mate gave me two starter ones jedi survivor and ff16 😁😁

In digital it works but when you download using disc it doesn't work

I think it’s pretty important to mention that this will not work for disc downloads as said in the comments, maybe edit the vid and re- upload it?

You would think that Sony would’ve been made the digital one automatically download load in rest mode. I just got ps5 Thursday for NCAA football 25 but I also got madden 25 and it still got 70hrs left cause it been in sleep mode without automatic updates on. Smh

All those opions are enabled by default on my ps5 slim, yet console canceled download of Gran turismo update when going to rest mode.

This is only for Digital games. Sadly CD's will not download while in Rest mode.

I have two separate PS5 consoles and both of them will not completely download disc games in rest mode. It'll start downloading and when I put it in rest mode, the next morning they are always between 20 and 70% before they have paused. What is causing PlayStation 5 to stop copying games is a mystery to me but it it certainly happens consistently. It's pure BS! I don't have this problem when downloading digital games from the network.

Can anyone help me? So I’ve got the disc version of black ops 4 stuck it in the ps5 slim disc version the console is relatively new and in good condition, updated to newest system software and when I put the PlayStation into rest mode it just completely stops the installation and pauses it, it however continues installation when I reopen the ps5 leading to a slower more rigorous installation on the ps5 I can’t afford to run
