When Susie finally realized that she has always been beautiful always hits me. I think it's because of her jealousy and desperation for her not to be replaced by Allison that might explain her disfigured face while Allison like Joey explained that she sees beauty in everything that her face is perfect

Dark revival is actually better. Because instead of Susie collapsing to the floor, she collapsed at Allison's hands & finally gets to see her sister with her/their face. Knowing that Alice was too obsessed on trying to be beautiful, she herself is actually beautiful. Now that is beautiful.

Her death in Dark Revival kinda felt like it had a bit more emotion to it.

Her Batdr death seems more respectful to me. In the first game she was just stabbed and fell to the floor dead with nothing after it. But in Batdr, she falls into Allison's arms and is at peace in her final moments after realizing that she is beautiful.

The Ink Machine creates multiple copies of the same entity: Good Alice (Allison), and Bad Alice (Susie Campbell). While they may look the same (or very nearly), they have very different personalities. Bad Alice died in the first game. However, since Henry reset the cycle, it brought all the old characters who died back to life (such as Sammy Lawrence). Good Alice says, 'Why does this feel so familiar?', which references how she killed Alice in the previous cycle.

there's actually a note in the game (i forgot what it was, but it's found in the north wing. You can watch dawkos final batdr to find it as well) that i'm pretty sure was written by allison to alice based on the wording. It also says "from a friend" which means that allison wanted alice to join her side, but in the end, she had to kill her

I love them both but I love how much the animation has improved. You can tell how far this series has come since its debut.

alisson actually cared about alice bcuz she was just driven for beauty which was the cause of her mass crimes but she knew there was some nice deep down (yes even through all the fetch quest she made us do.) She even sent her a note in her room.

What a tragedy in a way. In the original and this new game; she always craved being beautiful. She couldn't see it because she wasn't acting it. Being beautiful doesn't just take looks; but personality, actions, and standards. She ruined herself, and she has only herself to blame for it. At least she peacefully rested knowing that indeed, yes, that she is beautiful; and she was always beautiful, but she always looked to her ugly side. Loved this game f r.
